Flexible manufacturing
In the flexible manufacturing area, Umformtechnik
Stendal has two Trumpf punch/laser
combined machines and 4 CNC controlled
press break.
Medium-sized format tables (1,250 x 2,500) and large format tables in the laser sector (1,500 x 3,000) can be processed using the existing machinery in the punch-nibble laser department.
As far as flexible manufacturing is concerned, small series, prototypes and sample parts are mainly produced. The knowledge gained in the flexible manufacturing department is incorporated in later large series production runs in the press shop and assembly work.
Short hierarchical routes between the customer and member of staff allow the company to do justice to the title „flexible manufacturing“, especially when making prototypes and samples.
